How does Heldenwerk work?
You design your book in just a few minutes: name, age, theme and, optionally, a photo of your child's favourite cuddly toy. From that we craft a story of its own with your child as the hero, lovingly illustrated and instantly available as a PDF.
How much does a Heldenwerk book cost?
The price depends on the number of pages (8 to 28) and the extras you add, such as puzzles or a picture hunt. You see the exact price while designing, before you pay.
Do I have to upload a photo of the cuddly toy?
No, that's optional. Without a photo we design your child's companion from your description. With a photo it looks even more like the real toy.
What age is a Heldenwerk book suitable for?
Recommended for children aged 3 to 8. The stories are written to be read aloud and richly illustrated, so younger children enjoy them too.
Which languages are the books available in?
You can have your book created in German, English, French or Spanish. You choose the language while designing.
Can I change my book later?
Yes. Under “My Books” you can reopen and edit a book you've already created at any time, for example if details about your child change.
How safe is my child's data?
Very safe. We process all data under the strict rules of the GDPR, avoid unnecessary tracking and never pass children's data on to third parties. You'll find the details in our privacy policy.
Can I get my book printed?
Printing as a physical book is in preparation and coming soon. For now you receive your Heldenwerk book instantly as a PDF that you can print yourself or give as a digital gift.
